So this weekend I installed my Ground Force 2" Rear Drop for my 14 Express.
Install was easy.
Jacked up the rear, through the truck on stands, loosened the rear shocks, dropped the axle and out came the springs, and reinstalled them in that order.
It took 15 mins maybe lol.

Its drives good, no bouncing, no wobble at 90mph, and its smooth!
I'm concerned if my truck needs an alignment because it seems that the steering wheel got a little out of wack.
Maybe its because the thrust angle is off now since the axle moved to the side.

Can anyone chime in if it needs to be realigned now?
The panhard bar is pretty even still.

A 2" drop shouldn't move the rear end a lot, but it did move. You can get the alignment checked, but unless you drop the $$ for an adjustable panhard bar there is no way to adjust the thrust angle.

:naughty: Well of Course! Can't go wrong on the Crystal Granite Metallic Color!
But I did notice the steering wheel is off a bit after the drop. Maybe an adjustable panhard bar will do the job?

Not generally for the steering wheel to be off when not moving, if it is while moving that's a different story. I need to do the panhard bar on mine as im at a 2/3 drop but haven't found time to do it.

Thank You! But i was noticing it does need an alignment because the steering wheel is off hopefully the panhard and a alignment will make it go back to normal

Looks great man! I just ordered a Wrangler in the granite crystal metallic!

I would go get an alignment done regardless, it can't hurt and it could help...

Hey DavidRam, when you dropped your truck with the 2/4 drop did you feel the ride smooth or harsh?

And nice color, the wranglers are nice!
