Do cab configurations matter? I'm looking at getting rear level/2 inch lowering springs from Mcguahys, but I'm not sure if the part numbers are different for reg/quad/crew cabs.

I believe there is a difference because of the weight of the physical truck. I wound up cutting my stock springs. There's also a difference between left and right too, at least for stock springs

The McGaughys 2" rear springs are designed for the 4 door trucks. On a regular cab, they only give 1" of drop.

Regular cab trucks are better off going with the Ground Force 2" springs that are designed for the regular cab trucks.

I cant decide to lower the rear of mine or just leave it but I kinda hate how much rake it has.
