So being that my truck is lowered and I purchased it this way, I have noticed since I have owned the truck, the trucks' rear tires will rub on the fender liners when making a sharp turn.

Anyone else have this problem?

You just may be the unlucky one. I'm lowered 4" in the back and have wider tires than stock and have no issues. Make sure your tires aren't rubbing on your rear brake lines.

The rear tires are rubbing? Now that's a first. The only way I can think the tears would be rubbing is if there's a lot of body roll as you go around the corner. I'm dropped 6.5" and don't rub on the fender liners.

It's weird too... I have never heard of this! It's only when I lock the wheel while turning and it doesn't always do this. I even thought it was something else but I saw the wheel rub marks on the plastic liner. This also only happens in a parking lot not the highway lol.

I'd double check to ensure the liners (and anything else) are properly secured...

Not sure what else it could be.

As mentioned with the liners being loose but also look at all the rear suspension components and make sure all are in proper working order and alignment. I'm wondering if you somehow have some excessive movement side to side from a failed panhard bar allowing the axle to move while turning.

Does the rear feel loose and sashay like a woman as you drive down the road?

not really, at least I haven't noticed anything. Although sometimes going around a bend on the highway there is a bump that I hit every night and when the rear tires hits this part, it feels like it jumps ever so slightly, but I figured that was normal. Hell my old 98 Ram did the same thing.

I checked the liners and they look good. I also checked to see if the pan hard bar had any play in it and it seems to be tight! I am at a loss?

I was just wondering if you figured anything out... this is weird.

take some pics of wheel to well placement and outer fender for us. I'm curious is your axle was replace at one time with a different width axle? or narrowed for some reason.
Are you the original owner?
