They did a reg. cab on gears tv. I think its a 2/4 drop aired up if I remember right. I'd love it on my truck I live on back roads and sometime drive like I'm on a track just for fun. I'd be nice to pull up and lower it down you could mess with people so bad

I just think it'd be so badass to cruise down the highway all hunkered down, then to lift it up for like off road ish. The express he did on gears was cool. But I wanted to really see how low and how high it would get. But he never even tried it out. I wanna see a vid of it in action.

The new 2013 1500 has air ride that lowers on the highway and raises for off road.

Range Rover has been doing this for what... 15 years now? Air Ride is neat, I'm not arguing.

I do like the 'quasi' bolt in nature of this kit. I didn't see any specs as to the ride height afterwards.
I've been thinking about air for the rear so I can level it out empty / with the ATV in the bed.

I hate factory air ride they just don't last most the time. My aunt has a Lincoln and after 3 sets of bags and 2 compressors I talked her into the spring conversion. But I want this kit I love the lowered look but if you live in the woods like me you need bags. You can lower it down when your driving in town and highway. Then when you need to you can air up to clear stuff.

Pffft, that front bumper is like 4 thousand inches from terra firma.
The front bumper, even without a bodydrop should firmly rest on the ground with deflated bags.:)

Real Bagged truck...

I love them. I had a bagged mini truck a few years ago. Very fun but not reliable. If you do it spend money and get the good stuff. I was on a tight budget and as with everything cheap parts break. Alot.

I don't think it air all the way down. I know it won't layout like the gray truck but I would think it would be lower

No doubt! I would love nothing more than to go to a place like the Little shop of horrors and get a full custom chassis, raise the bedfloor, custom inner fenders. Lay out over some 26s. Oh hell yes...:roflsquared:

After punching in the numbers from the Truckin link. They paid just under $5K for parts (w/o tax). For $5K you can lay frame. A local shop here quoted me $3K to bag '02. And the 3rd gens would require more gab work then the 4th gens IMO.

Badass truck! But not low enough for $5k

They re did the suspension not to long ago.... MUCH BETTER!

I did a lot of talking with ride-tech back when i first got the itch to start playing with my 10'. What they told me was the kit would give me a 2" drop in height overall while aired up but here is the kicker they are not meant to be driven aired down. They told me you could deflate them and cruise the strip mall parking lot or what ever at low slow slow speed but for driving highway or city streets neighborhood or anything else they need to be aired up or they could be damaged. Not the bags themselves but the bodies and internals the the bags are built around not to mention suspension parts as well. Ive never had a bagged truck but the folks i know that have always had problems if they rode around deflated.
