It would be nice to see all lowered 4th gens in one section, especially since I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2/4 drop but am undecided as to which one to buy.

Soo. PICTURES? :)

My truck looks different now but this is my favorite pic anyway.
McGaughys 2/4 modified to 3/5, QA1 adjustable shocks, Hellwig f/r sway bars and Spohn Performance adjustable panhard and 4 link bars which I think should be mandatory on any lowered 4th Gen to recenter the rear wheels.

All these trucks look great. If I had a 2wd 4th gen, I wouldnt even think twice about lowering it. That is probably the first thing I would do to the truck.

Yep. If you lower one of these things the arc the link bars swing on is gonna position the rear wheels to the front. Look at every pic posted in here...it's very obvious.
Or you can look at the pics of my truck on Spohn's site to see a before and after.

Yep....have been for years. I crew on some former ADRL Extreme 10.5 cars.....moving to XDRL Pro Turbo this year with Mike Murillo taking over driving duties on one of them.

Have you done a write up on proper adjustment? Is that something you need an alignment machine or just a tape measure?

You just need to measure and set each adjustable bar to the same length before install.

I want that set something bad but can jump on it yet.. shoulda ordered them instead of the freakin train horns but they werent out yet. I figured a four wheel alignment would be in order after an adjustable arm swap out right. Well bumper and grill is off along with lights front and back, all the door panels inside along with outside belt moldings on each door window plus mirrors both sides... antenna is off and rear bumper should come off tomorrow.... its fixin to get real cool here real soon thanks to Johnstons Bike and Bodyworks here where I live. wouldnt mind getting rid of the antenna mast on the fender but I did that years ago on a mustang I had with one of those hideaway antenna boxes and it was never as good reception after that as before.... any of you guys try those hide away antenna boxes with any luck?

1/2 a coil off the front and a full coil off the back will turn a 2/4 into a 3/5 with no detrimental effects.

On 2 different trucks I shaved the antennas on I used a thing from Radio Shack that's a long wire in a roll of clear tape about 3/8" wide. It has an antenna plug on one end. I ran them on the inside of the windshield along the a-pillar then across the top by the headliner. It was virtually invisible along the side and the headliner hid it completely along the top....worked really well and only cost a few bucks.
