Thanks for keeping us in the loop with this. Spindle drop should be immediate and shouldn't need time to settle like lowering springs.

That's weird tie rods and upper control needed to be changed when 2wd Mcgaugjys spindles bolt up to 4wd truck.

What year were the spindles off of?

these are pictures before install and picture of the truck once installed. they are a little more weather looking now. i can get those pictures later. i had little travel in the front and that was a issue to me other then that they were great. i could have raised it up some but i still wanted a dropped truck.

We're these installed with GF front springs? We're you bottoming out constantly? I'm interested in these.

no stock springs. dropped all the way. they did bottom that low. if you run them 3 grooves or higher there was no problem.

Having the front of the truck 1" higher than the rear is really starting to **** me off lol so I know where you're coming from. Yours looks more even, I'd say you got around 1".

Can you confirm what year your 2wd spindles came from and why you had to replace the tie rod ends? I'm trying to decide weather the 2wd spindles are worth the effort vs mcgaughys 2" spindles.

i LIKE that front stance right there. that's perfect. so you only did one new notch machined at the same spacing as the bilsien notches? combined with the GF 2" front coils, correct?

Looks like he ran stock front springs and a lowered notch. Note that he was bottoming out...

i did 4 new grooves. the exact spacing as the top 4 grooves. i dropped it all the way down to the 4th groove. it was to low the shock bottomed out. i then moved it up so it was only 3 grooves down. drove great. i only wanted it lower so i then modified another shock hoping to get what i was after. it is better still not prefect. here is a picture of my new setup. yes stock springs....

Pred, did you get measurements yet? Can you provide more detail of the install... why did you need to swap tie rods ends? What year were the spindles from?

Rubber is rubbing here, but only when slowing down and applying brakes. When parked I can get my hand between them, no problem
