Widest tires.

I was wondering what's the Widest tire I can fit on the rear of my 2014 ram 1500 4x4 with a 2/4 lowering g kit.

I think it really all comes down to what wheel you mount them on with what offset/backspacing and width.

To be honest I'm not sure but I'm going to try to stuff a 315 or 325 out back once I get the SRT wheels painted and everything over to the tire shop to see.

I have a 2 wd with 2/4 drop and just purchased 285-50-20's. The local tire store said they wont fit, but a few others on this forum say they've run this size and even 295 with little or no rub. Only issue I'm running into is getting them installed. The places that say they wont fit will install, but won't warrant the tires.

YAh lots of guys run 305's.

Im on 24x10, air suspension and run 305s trouble free

good luck finding something that tall in that width, most tires this big stop at 305. you can always go for kill and make the pirelli 405/25/24 fit. i still consider it everyday

Continental ContiSportContact 5P - 325/35R22 &
Pirelli P Zero - 325/35R22

Both those are around 31" tall while the stock 285's are about 32" tall

and Cooper 325/40R22 RE ZEON XST & Kumho STX 325/40R22 supposedly make these but I haven't checked with my tire guy

Got belltech 2-4 drop in the back I'm running 305 with 22 hoping I can do 315

So dumb for them to say that. It's only 10 MM wider than a stock tire.

2/4 drop with stock rims. What is the widest for the front? I really dont want to but I will buy different tires for front if the size for the rear would rub. I've been looking for 20x10 rims for the 305's
