Hey All! I have been looking at buying a new 2014 Ram for some time and have decided between two trucks at two different dealerships. I actually signed a buyers agreement this past Saturday and upon pick up suddenly the price had changed about $120 p month on a lease. This was at a dealership that had the exact truck I wanted, the Ram Black Express package. Turned out this was the only dealership within 100 miles that had the truck. So I went to another dealership today and found a black express but not the package so it had the chrome wheels, trim and other little changes. Long story short, I worked a deal with this dealership which was great to deal with and actually got me into a purchase just below the lease price. Now the original dealership lowered their price and threw in some extra goodies. Uggghhhh!!! :sawzall:

(unrelated to the above... but) So my question is - How much does this Chrysler full bumper to bumper warranty cost? I have it worked in both deals and it looks like they are charging me around $3000 for it which from what I've read, is about $500-$800 over what others paid (but that was in 2012). Any opinions/feedback would be great. Thanks and glad to be a part of the community!

I would think the included factory warranty would cover the truck thru the lease period. I wouldn't pay extra for something I probably wouldn't benefit from over the lease time.

Guess I should have mentioned that I switched to a purchase. ;) Going to keep the truck for the long haul and do about 18,000 miles per year and tow. From what I have read, the dealer cost for a Chrysler factory warranty is around $1885 for a full lifetime bumper to bumper with a $100 deductable. They seem to be selling them for just under $2200, again from my research.

Nice truck. Glad you found a truck you like and it's a shame that they tried to change the price on you. I never tried the dealership that you got the truck from... hope it was a good experience.
