I bought the Ram!!

Well, I took the leap. I traded my Lexus GX 460 (and took a 14K bath on it since I owned it less than a year) in for a 2017 Ram 1500. Wish I would've done this last year instead of buying the GX.

I foresee tint, an exhaust, intake, nicer shoes and perhaps a slight lift in her future.. But so far I'm happy with it.

Now the fun begins!!

Congrats! I'm sure you'll be happy. I don't forsee myself ever being in a car again. Love sitting up higher and the larger cabin space of a truck.

The GX was on a tundra frame but holy crap this is way higher and bigger, freakin love it. Problem now is wife wants to drive it since the pedals move for her and her car is a Lexus IS 350 which I don't quite fit into well so we may have to trade her's in for a challenger! haha I told the dodge salesman we are getting rid of our lexus's and becoming a dodge family!

So I ordered a few mods already, reminds me of when I used to do **** to my trans am (before kids). Ordered S&B cold air kit (75-5078), lift gate damper so my daughter doesn't take a tailgate to the head. Ordered the stubby antenna to see how that looks, got a dodge rams head logo receiver plug and RM10 blind spot mirrors.

Tomorrow I'm taking her up to my buddy so we can put her in the air and look at the exhaust. Can't wait to get the exhaust, I had a LT1 trans am with an LT4 hotcam and 1.6 rockers bored .30 over and I remember how sweet that sounded, can't wait to hear the HEMI!
