Just bought a 2013 RAM Sport

Hi everyone,

I just bought a black 2013 RAM hemi sport crew cab 4wd as my daily driver. (23k miles) I have always been a huge car enthusiast growing up. I have had all GM cars, but always secretly loved MOPAR.

1982 Monte Carlo - Sold
1994 LT1 M6 Camaro (Low 12 sec car) - Sold
2004 LS1 A4 GTO / DD (Low 13 sec car) - Sold
2001 LS1 M6 Camaro (Mid 11 sec car) - Still Own
2003 Lexus IS300 / DD - Sold

I have some questions about my truck regarding scheduled maintenance and reliability.

My 2013 has the 6 speed auto and not the 8 speed. It worries me that the torque rating on this transmission is what the truck puts down stock.

Should I be worried? Do you know of any bad experiences?
Can you run a tranny cooler on these with ease?

Stock 6 speed should be fine if you're not planning big power adders. With bolt-ons, these transmissions seem to hold up fine. With superchargers or spray, you're going to want to research building the transmission.
