New 2017 Rebel Owner from MN

Hey gang...new Ram Rebel owner here. Came from a 2014 Durango R/T. While I loved the Durango...I needed more room. I travel alot...love National Parks. I take (2) 4500 mile round trips every year and now have a lady to accompany me. We did a west coast trip about a month ago and found we were a bit tight with all the luggage and cameras, etc. While I can afford a 70K Yukon Denali, which I looked hard at....I decided I didn't really need that payment along with minimal more room than the Durango.

Enter the 2017 Ram Rebel. $11K off MSRP...everything I wanted...Navigation, Rambox, Tonneau cover, bed liner, side steps, Silver, 3.92 gears... loaded. My local dealership from Minnesota went to Illinois to find this truck and I love it so far.

Got linked over here from one of the Rebel Forums...on the Pedal Commander thread. Decided to join up and take part. Hope you guys don't mind

Straight south of the Twin Cities on I-35...about 40 minutes.

My truck came from a Dodge Dealer in Crystal Lake, Illinois...down in your parts! Had everything I wanted and they didn't mind going that far.

Sounds like you're in the lakeville/ New market area. I lived by lake nokomis for 20 years. Nice rig you got there.

There are a few things I wanted on my Rebel. I wanted the Rambox...for sure. I was willing to go with Delmonico Red but Dodge of Burnsville (30 mins away) wouldn't trade for the one they had...the owner was driving it.

Harry Browns Dodge/Jeep here in Faribault traded for me. They did a search and found a silver one in Lake Crystal Illinois. It had everything that I wanted and more. Ended up being $57410 sticker and I got it for like $46,500 or so after discounts and rebates.

My dealer had one on the lot that I test drove but it didn't have the Rambox. They've been good to me...bought my 2014 Durango from them. They have a blue Rebel on the lot now too.

Mine was sitting on the lot for 1 day after they got it and before I picked it up and they had several people stop by and ask questions about it.

I'd be happy to answer any questions! I'll PM you. I signed my deal on 07-31-2017 and picked it up on 08-01-2017. I wanted to get the for sure rebates and discounts.

I just moved to Minot, ND from Lakeville. I had a bad service experience at Dodge of Burnsville I am sure the post is still on here somewhere. Cost me about $1000 to redo the rear end after they touched my truck. Nice Ram!

I'll never deal directly with Dodge of Burnsville. Horrid dealer.

Tried to have my dealer get a 2017 Rebel from them on a dealer trade and they wouldn't let it go..even though it was listed for sale. They wanted to screw me on a trade for my 2014 Durango R/T 3 years ago...so I went to another dealer and bought one.

I grew up south of Lakeville...great area!
