Hello,

I joined here a few weeks back when I started seriously considering a 2500 series dodge ram. I've learned a lot about these trucks and have decided on the 2500 ram. I hope to purchase one in the near future.

I'm traditionally a ford/Chevy man, but did own a 1997 2500 series ram that i did like quite a bit. I've always thought dodge was very innovative and the new rams do not dissapoint. (Rear under seat storage, in floor storage bins, etc.

Wish me luck.

Thanks,
Greg

Thanks guys. I know there is no perfect truck. Pros and cons of each and all of the big 3 build good trucks these days. However, i don't think ford /Chevy can match the Dodge in features and bang for the buck. At least that's my findings after looking at all 3. I think dodges quality is good also and from crawling around under all 3 3/4 ton trucks, i feel the Dodge is heavier duty then GM and just as heavy as ford.

Hi, I just landed here myself, so welcome!

I came to pretty much the conclusion you did. I've driven all the big three trucks, and RAM nailed it. I even made the statement the Laramie I got is a better value proposition than the loaded 2016 BMW 328i with a sticker of 49K I got rid of for it.

With Chevy I felt like too much cheap plastic in the interior, and didn't care for the overall ride. Plus, I think they ask WAY too much for their trucks.

Ford was a little better, but still didn't feel like as good value as RAM. Didn't like the overall ride there either.

RAM knocked it out of the park, plus, that 5.7 with dual exhaust, how can you not like that? :)
