New ram owner

I have driven Toyota trucks for 20 years and have bought my first ram. 2017 Laramie. Ordered Oem splashguards. How hard are they to install? Also need recommendation for running boards. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the big leagues lol.i have Westin bars on Mine! Love the different shape than traditional bars. Kinda looks like B17 bomber lol.
Splash guards are so simple to put on. Piece of cake

Welcome & congratulations on the new ride. Splash guards are easy to install. The only difficulty is the top screw for the rear has to be drilled. Angle isn't the easiest. Depending on running boards they may not work with the front guards. I have the flat black running boards and they work perfect. They are about 6" wide. I believe there is a chrome version too.

Welcome to the RAM family. The Mopar chrome running boards are A-1, very wide and style is perfect for our clean trucks. also very durable, I scraped mine on a huge chunk of ice last year and it didn't even scratch them.

Welcome aboard! My 2017 Ram came with the Mopar running boards but there are alot of choices out there. The Westin's are nice (already mentioned).

Welcome aboard matey! I just got my 1500 almost a month ago, love it! I still am amazed how comfortable ALL of the seats are, it's like driving a couch!

I got these $249 Lund 4 inch nerf bars, while I'm happy with them, the Mopar's look M U C H better in person. I got these because honestly I plan on never cleaning this truck to be honest, it already has a few dings and scratches.

Welcome. I have the AMP Power boards on mine. I needed something that dropped further than standard boards did. AMP is more expensive, but worth it for me.

Welcome to forum!

If you have the OEM splash guards make sure to out some 3m clear bra tape between the splash guard and the paint. It will chafe through the paint around the edges. Found this out the hard way....

Thanks, your trucks look awesome! Still kinda freaking out about having such a nice truck. Love the 395 hp, 8 spd, 3.92 rear end and gets better mileage then my old Toyota.
