Been driving manual/sports cars since 16, finally decided to go auto. Single owner trade-in, found it two states away at a dealer prior to them completing the online posting for it and made a day trip out of it.
I would like to take the bull bar off cause I'm not really into the look. Would also like to upgrade the headlights then lift, wheels down the road.

Well the good news is that they are easy to sell once removed as long as you don't mind traveling. The reason I say that is it's definitely bulky shipping. As far as the other things, you'll have access to a ton of information on this forum. Great group of Ram owners who are all about the help.

Been driving manual/sports cars since 16, finally decided to go auto.

I also went from 24 years of manual transmissions only to an 8sp 1500. After, almost a year with it, I have no regrets. It helps that I still have a manual Jeep and Mustang to shift gears in. The ZF 8sp is the best automatic trans I have ever driven. I drive other auto trans vehicles for work more than my own cars, but I still look forward to driving my truck. Congratulations on the new to you ride.

Thanks for the welcome! I never thought I'd find a non 3.21 Ram 1500 either but the second I stopped caring, I found this one and realized it had a 3.55 rear while signing so that was a good sign.

First steps will definitely be shedding some LBS in the form of the sidesteps and the bull bar.

Look forward to learning all I can on here.

Thanks again!

I did not know the 8sp came with 3:55's unless it's a 6 banger?:favorites13: and welcome. Mind you it's states the 3:555's right on the window sticker so I learned something new today. Pops would be happy as he always said"learn one new thing a day"
