That set up should work out fine .. you have the right offset . Keep in mind our 2500's are about 3" taller than 1500's so we have more options to go higher .

Are the 305's to wide? The 285's are 32, 305's are 33, How much bigger you talking? How wide would you go??

On a stock 2500 you can go 35x12.50 with no issues with that offset

Dunno about the 4G ram, but here is my 3G Ram 1500 with 305/55/20 tires on 20x8.5 rims.
