I have an '11 Ram Laramie 4x4. I am wanting to put some Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac's on it to give it a meatier look. 275/65/20. I am reading mixed reviews about what size leveling/lift kit I need to put on the truck to to make the tires fit. One place says I need at least a 4" lift. Another one says only a 2.5" front lift and a 1.75 rear lift but also need a 1" body lift.

Has anyone mounted these tires on their new Ram with success?

I appreciate the help!

I am also positive you won't need a 4" lift. Probably a 2.5" level in front will do it is my guess without looking.

Depending on which wheels you have (20x8 or 20x9) I believe you can fit these stock.
With a 2 or 2.5" leveling kit, you will certainly be able to fit them.

Does anyone recommend a specific lift manufacturer to use, or NOT to use?

If you choose to afford it, Bilstein adjustables really seem to be the way to go.
Seems like many people who have Hell Bent and other level kits end up switching to the 5100s set at either 2.1 or 2.8 depending on desired rake.

Technically speaking, you don't need any lift to get 275/65/20' on there. First time you hit a bump you'll wish you had but technically not needed. So, the 2.5 will work fine.

Go with Hell Bent steel, cheaper prices and good quality stuff. I've read a lot of bad reviews about Rough Country leveling kits something to do with the "cinch" bolts stripin. I have Hell Bent steel with no issues. Oh and you should deff be able to fit those with just a 2" level. I dont know who would suggest a 4" left. The tire is only an inch bigger around.
