Fabtech, zone/bds, pro comp are the higher end products for 6"

I had a 2011 ram 1500 with a RCX and now currently own a 2012 with a BDS .the bds is by far superior in terms of ride quality and strength , most people will comment and give you there opinion, they will argue all day on this that rcx is great because it is cheaper and alot of people run it , of course they will stand by what they install, but I have ran both , I have no experience on any other lifts, but hear goods reviews on most

I had 4 inch lift and 3 inch body lift on my old ranger and always felt it was quite stiff (torsion bar suspension) running 33 toyo O/C M/T

so i will be going more for the comfortable ride. and cost isnt a factor (i mean it is, but if a grand more gets me a better kit ill do it this time)

BDS is who my brother suggested, hes a licensed mechanic so i do trust his opinion. he has a 8inch bds kit modified to about 12 on his 08 ram 2500. (pic of his truck attached)

My lifted ranger is behind it and makes it look tiny!
I also tow a 18foot enclosed sled trailer with mine so i want the back stiff, might add airbags. but for now just a 6inch lift.

I have rcx. Would have went bds if money was not an option.

The RCX is a good lift. But the BDS is also good. I'd give the nod to BDS because of the option of Fox shocks.

If money is not so much a factor. Go Pro Comp Stage 2 (coilovers). That's going to give you an incredible ride. The coilover and upgraded rear shocks is about a grand more than the Pro Comp Stage 1. Although, I must say I have the Stage 1 and mine rides pretty good considering my tires aren't the smoothest. In 2 years and almost 27k miles I have not had a single issue with my lift. I'm also running the heaviest 37" tire and have been off road with it numerous times.

Pro Comp also offers a lifetime warranty now.

I seen this and liked the warrenty option.

I like the way yours sits with the 6inch lift and body lift kit, I plan to keep running the 35's as i just got them in march.

I have heard good things about BDS, but that Pro Comp Stage II with coilovers sounds like it is top of the line. I have the RC lift because I was on a budget, but if I had a choice I probably would have gone with something a bit nicer. My ride is a little bumpy, not sure if that is due to the lift or tires and other parts, but the parts are also on the cheaper side too and I have already broken a sway bar link from my lift.

Very good recommendations here.
What it boils down it is $$ you want or can spend on a lift.

Zone/RCX is of course on the lower end $$ wise. I would give the edge to RCX in this comparison.

BDS is probably the best middle ground.

But as musclemckeester said, the Stage 2 kits of Pro Comp, even Fabtech are excellent kits, but they are 3 times the RCX/Zone pricing and almost double the BDS kit

We have access to all, so we are not pushing one product over the other.
This is just an honest opinion from a fellow lifted truck, member and track record of sales for us.

dodge said i can only do a 4'' lift for warranty, but i also know they have to prove that my lift is what caused things to mess up if i go higher, i was thinking about a 6''

Nice truck man!
Not so common rims, yet it looks BADASS!

This varies from dealer to dealer and yes, they will have to prove to you the lift cause the issue.
All the lift kits come with proper drop brackets and in most cases corrects the CVs and actually straighten them over stock.
This allows for guys to run Bilsteins without issue
Food for thought

Going bds with bilstein 5150's. Hoping for just over 6 inchs of lift plus the level kit if it can stay installed.
