I am new here trying to get some info on lifting my truck.Looking to go with 33" agressive mud tires on factory 20" rims with a 2.5" level kit for the front. It has been a challenge to find photos online any input or photos would be great.

Thanks

Look into Bilstein 5100 shocks. They are adjustable and work well on our trucks. Depending on the width of the 33s, you may have to use wheel spacers to clear the uca. Look into 275/65r20. They are approximately 34" and fit well for leveled trucks with stock wheels....that is if you're opposed to wheel spacers. Here's a pic of mine when it had a 2" level with 275/65r20 Nitto Trail Grapplers

I just installed the Maxtrac 2.5" level on my ram and put 35x12.5 on the stock 20's on it and have no spacers or rubbing at all even at full lock. The 33's would have fit no problem but I wanted 35's and I'm glad they fit. The tires are the Atturo MT's(pretty much the knock off of the Toyo MT) so they are really aggressive too.

Here's a pic of it.

wow that looks nice.I am now thinking of going with 35" tires with a 4" Lift I believe it will look sweet. If any one has photos that would be cool. The only thing is running 35"s on a stock dodge will I have to re-gear the front and rear axles or upgrade due to the larger tires.I am trying to keep it stock as much as possible but give it a nice lift with style.

FloridaRam13,

what trans / gears do you currently have ?

ideally 3.92 gears are the best your gonna get. We can not just swap gears sadly.

Update on My 2013 Ram

So after some time I finally decided to go with a Rough Country 6" Lift kit,Wild Country MTX 35x12.50r17 Radials,17" KMC Rockstar Rims and Nfab w2w Steps.I did loose about 3-4 MPG and speedo is off by 2 mph.Overall Very Happy.I have more plans in the future but need to pay off the debts from this go around first :buffer:

PS..See original post for stock picture of the truck

I lost about 4 mpg and the tires ride very well you do have some road hum but Im happy overall.I have not had a chance to get it dirty yet so cannot tell you about throwing rocks ect yet.I have more plans in the future but nothing crazy I like a simple clean lifted rig.

Put a maxtrac 2.5 level on mine,but it vibrates past 82mph :-(
I put this one on to not have this issue. It definitely rides alot smoother then bilstien does but the vibration issue raises concern. If it cant be cured I'll be lowering it instead.
