What do I need? A local shop was saying $550 with new shocks and only a 1.5" lift. I previously had a F150 and did the leveling kit myself and it did not need new shocks just a realignment. If I install the 2" spacers will I need a new sock or just realignment?

I just leveled mine two months back its not hard to do yourself the only special tool you may need is a long pry bar at least 3 ft to pop the springs back in, pickle folk to pop the upper ball joint, and a buddy to help. I have yet to get mine aligned the tires are wearing even and I'm holding off untilI get new ones. The shocks however you don't need new ones, however, if will help the ride quality I just installed a set of 2013 ram 2500 shocks in my 1500! They are about two inches longer and gave me ride quality back post level. I was qouted 500 from my dealership and look at it as I did it myself and made 500$ (not really) but it's 500 I can put into my truck. I am planning to upgrade my uca's next month through mevotech. Hope this gave you some insight.

I have the 1.5" performance accessories on mine and i need to replace the shocks, due to the fact that they are fully extended and it feels like a constant bottom out while driving.

I got a set of pro comp es9000's for the front on my 09 that had spacers 0-3 lift. They are $40 each. I had a lot of mileage so I got a set of 4 for $160 off 4 wheel parts down the street. Rode a lot better than stock and they are cheap. You could also use the maxtrac 2" lift springs instead of a spacer also. This time I on my 14 I just did the 4.5" spindle and 3" rear spring and shock kit for $850 was well worth it. So much better than my 09 with the spacers.

I like your lift man I was thinking of doing the 4.5 spindle and 3 inch rear spring with 22x12 -44 offset on 33x12.50 22

I am happy with the way it turned out. Handles good and rides great even with the 35" MT's on it I have no problem. It's a little rougher than stock mostly due to the tires though. Was well worth the money to me to have an actual lift over a level since it aligns easy and the spindles don't bother the weaker UCA's at all.

Really, really liking the rake you still have with the 4.5"/3" kit...been looking at the same sort of thing for my 2014 2WD since even just a 1" front spacer is kind of scaring me with the stories I've been reading on here...I'm thinking the spindle kits just might be the safer way to go and get all the lift I'll need/want at once.

I have a 2.5 inch front level spacer and the Mevotech upper control arms. I've had it all on for about 3 months or so now and no issues. I didn't get/need new shocks.

By any chance do you have the part number to the lift you have? Have a friend who would like to have that same exact set up from maxxtrac thanks
