Just got my 2.5" level kit in for my 2015 Ram 1500. Has anyone put a leveling kit on a 2015 yet? I got the 3bolt adapters that go on top of the strut but when I looked at the strut I cannot see the three bolts that attach it to the mount. All I see is the bolt from the top of the strut/shock. Does anyone know if Ram changed the type of strut they put in the 2015 and if so which spacers do I need?

Like in the other threads, I don't think 2wd 1500s have the 3 holes that 4wd rams have for coilovers. I believe the 2wd have regular coil springs and separate shocks up front. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. If you post a picture we can help you out more. I think you may have the wrong leveling kit. The correct kit shouldnt have anything with 3 holes in it for a 2wd. You kit needs to look something like this to work Traxda Kit #604080 -1994-2013 2WD Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 - Front 2" Level Kit - Coil Spring Suspension

Yes mine matches the ones I have seen on line but yes they only have lifting the 4x4s online. No one really lifted a 2wd or at least showed pics. Thanks for help

The 4x2's have coilovers? I thought 4x2's had dual a-arms and coilsprings.

No the 2WDs do not have coil-overs..... The shock bolts on the lower a-arm with two bolts and the top of the shock mounts to a pad so to speak thats mounted to the frame. The coil spring is in between the lower a-arm and the pad the shock is mounted to..... That makes this a shock and coil setup.

Ok I did some research and found the Maxtrac suspension page.... they said I could go with the 2" coil spacers (made out of aluminum) or put the 2.5" leveling springs and the longer shocks...... Spacers (# 1906) are $50 and the spring and shock option is $160 for the springs (752425-8) and $100 for the shocks (1450SL-6). So I would be looking at around $250 plus the alignment.

Checked out the Traxda page and found the 2" level kit (604080) for $147. Did a search and can get it on Amazon for $110. Think I am going to go that route.

What do you guys think?

My truck sits from the ground to the rear fender 39" and from the ground to the front fender 36.5" so thats 2.5" of downward rake in the front. I know it wont be exactly level but was wondering how good it would look and should I really go that extra half or will it make a difference?

I ordered this same kit for my truck yesterday. It's very hard to find parts for the 2015 2wd and for the price this can't be beat. Any chance you have found shocks that work? I have had bilstein on all my previous trucks but apparently their r&d is slackin lol

Ckyuv I just got my kit yesterday and plan to install it this morning. According to traxda there are some spacers that are in the kit that go on the shock as well so you shouldn't have to get new shocks unless you just want them. The spacers go on top of the shock so it pushes the top of the shock down and you get the factory travel after the kit is on.

Sweet I saw it came with the shock extension I just didn't know if that was a temporary fix or something you can use long term. Can't wait to hear how it went/look for ya

Do you know by chance if the 2015 uca have the same problem as the 13/14 with the ball joints comin loose? I haven't seen anyone mention the issue with the new trucks not sure if it's the same part or not. Would like to swap them out at same time if it is an issue lol

Hmm that's a good question as far as we know yes, they are the same still. I haven't had anybody say anything but unless Dodge changed the upper arm/ball joint design again then I would say its the same as the 2013 & 2014. Hard to say unless someone has tried putting a 2" or larger strut spacer on a 2015 and ran into the same issue? Maybe someone can chime in on this?

Did OP get this installed? I spoke with a vendor today that said you can level the 2015 2wd RAM 1500 but it causes the truck to not be able to be aligned. Any thoughts or feedback?

I am also interested if the install ever took place. Also, did you need longer shocks ? Pictures of the final stance?

I've installed a 2.5" spacer on my 2wd and it aligned perfectly. I just need to install the shock extensions. I hope it helps the ride bc mine is real bouncy
