Hey guys. Really haven't used a forum much butttttttt.... I took a week of leave from the Air Force to come home and get my truck lifted. I was going to do the lift with my friend( we work on the b1 bomber and are mechanically inclined) but I took it to a local shop and they are hooking me up. I have a 2016 Ram Sport 4x4. Blue in color. I'm getting the zone 6in front/ 3in rear lift. I actually dropped the truck off on Monday and they finished it Tuesday. But me and the family went to Corpus Christi for a few days so I won't pick it up till Friday. It will have the lift, 20x10 fuel mavs, and 35in mastercraft mxt tires. I don't have any pics of it from the shop(I want it to be a surprise) but I will upload some once I get the truck back. Anyone else have these zone lifts and how you loving them?!

Can't wait to see pics and thanks for your service. Heard nothing but good things about Zone lifts. Why 35s and not 37s? Some trucks look great with 6/35 and some 35" tires look small on 6" lifts.

What base are you stationed at? I'm at Grand Forks. Anyways, I have that exact lift. The first picture is w/35x12.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers and the second is w/37x12.5 Toyo RTs. Where did you get your lift put on?

Thanks guys. I'm stationed at Dyess Afb, Tx. I only live 3 hours from home. Maybe I'll get orders someday considering I been here for 3 years already haha. But the lift is getting done at Aloha in Gatesville, Tx. All together it's only costing 4630 which isn't bad at all. I went with the 35s because I only have the 3.21 gears.... I want 37s but when I regear it to the 3.92s in the future I'll think about them. And also I wanted the nittos but man them things are so heavy. They are the best looking tire in my opinion but heavy. I got the 35in mastercraft mxt for now since they have real good reviews and are light weight.

That truck is sexy. I use to have a 2014 quad cab and I honestly like the looked of quad cabs lifted compared to crew cabs. What gears you running by chance?

I've never been to Dyess, but I've heard stories haha. Yea, I've been trying to get out of Grand Forks for 5 years now. Good price on the lift and wheels! I think mine ran just about the same. I have these 37s with 3.55 gears and it's fine. It's a little sluggish off the start, but not bad. Gas is the same as 35s though. One day I'll re-gear it.

Either of you Airmen ever consider going to Alaska? Not sure if your jobs would be available but I was stationed at Ft Richardson right next to Elmendorf AFB just outside of Anchorage. Beautiful place and if you like to fish and hunt you'd never want to leave. If yoh ever get the chance I highly recommend it.

Yeah actually I went tdy there last November. We had a b1 there for about 7 days. I've been to Alaska 4 times (brother use to be stationed there) I love the place just it's so cold. But here the pics of my truck lifted. It downshifts so much but it's whatever.

Man that looks good. Just the right amount of gap between the fender and tires.

I would like to go to Alaska especially for the fishing. Every time I see it on the overseas list, I put it on my dream sheet but sadly never get it. I've heard a lot of awesome stories about it so my fingers are crossed!

The truck looks awesome especially with the blue! Makes me wish my truck wasn't blacked out.

Here's a better pic. Cleaned her up and waxed her. Drive it about 70 miles already. Rides good. Tires of course hum a little. Get about 14mpg. Heading back to Abilene tomorrow which is 175 miles from where I'm at now. Give a better update tomorrow.

Yeah.i love the outdoors. I want to put in for Korea. But then again I don't want to go Korea. I'll be deploying here soon so at least I will get out of Texas for a bit.
