I went with the fox shocks upgrade and 5" springs in the rear, 37x12.5x20s,truck drives amazing! but looks like it is nosed over and needs 1-2" more up front, i don't want to put the smaller springs in the rear as i like the look, any suggestions on how to level out the front, thanks ill work on pics shortly

Bilstein 5100's at 2.1". That's been discussed all over the forum as most guys who run the 5" rear coils run Bilsteins on the front.

We're gonna need to see some pics! But as Brandon mentioned, bilsteins. 2.1 setting should get you about dead level.

Not to thread hijack here - but I'm putting my zone 4" lift with 3" rear coils tomorrow - I spoke with Brandon, but want to confirm with everyone one more time before I do the install tomorrow. For my lift, I need to set my bils to 1.4" to level it in the front, right? I see ya'll are telling the OP to put his at 2.1. Is this due to the 4" vs 6" lift? Just needing confirmation so i don't end up having to get two alignments if I have to go back and raise the bils lol

thanks fellas, any good source on the shock part number to be specific, thanks. ill get on the pics! I am kinda dissapointed! the 37s look tiny, I dont like stuff outside the fender or too aggressive but it looks stock to me! its my opinion but go with 37s. I bought the truck with the upgraded lowest gears from factory 3.92s i believe. truck drives extremely well i haul livestock with it do way over the speed limit stops no issues, just this slant nose!!

Just pull up next to a stock 1500, you'll feel better. lol

I think you just get used to the changes and it becomes the norm. Hell, I just have a level up front and some slightly taller tires. My dad came up over the weekend with his new 2016 and the difference in height side by side was unreal.

Why is everyone telling him to ditch the Fox shocks he already has and put on the cheap Bilstein shocks to get more lift in the front??
Am I wrong for thinking he can just adjust the Fox shocks??

Yes this is due to the difference in lift heights. When installing Bilsteins with a 6" lift you don't install the preload spacer that comes with the kit as the Bilsteins set the preload for you. So the 2.1" VS 1.4" is just making up that difference that the preload spacer would normally provide.

Tell me about it. My 37's look like 33's to me now and my truck is starting to feel more and more like stock height.

It's a Zone kit so he's only running Fox shocks on the rear, not the front. If they were Fox on the front they'd be coilovers. So we're talking about replacing OEM struts with Bilsteins.

Do you have the regular Fox coilover shocks or the reservoir shocks?

These people that are telling you to throw out your Fox shocks and get the Bilstein shocks do not know what they're talking about. Fox coilover shocks are adjustable!!

I think there is some confusion here. Nobody is telling the OP to ditch fox coilovers for bilsteins. He got the fox "rear" upgrade with the zone kit. I'm guessing the front end just has the lift components. If this is the case, adding bils up front will help level things out.

Correct it does not have fox shocks up front! stock struts, Which i think is garbage, why sell a kit FOX and not have them all around, especially for the $400 more, regardless does anyone kno the part number and where to buy the correct bilsteins, thanks

Just google bilstein 5100 ram 1500 and the correct ones will pop up all over.
