So I traded in my 1500 and have had my new 2500 for almost 3 weeks now. Starting a list of mods I'd like so I'm curious what level kit is best for the HDs. I ran a spacer on my 1500 and hated it, also didn't like how many things it negatively affected. Are spacers good for the HDs or better to switch out shocks and springs? I have a 6.4 hemi 4x4.

change the springs out for longer ones. you should also get a adjustable track bar so your front axle stays centered under the truck.

Make sure you order coils for the Hemi motor, as most were only Cummins rate specific until very recently.

I put in a 2 1/2" RCX Spacer and shock extensions 6 days after I purchased my truck. 4c717d1dcb6d9e49edc645485711f6bb.jpg6c0bbe22fb8bc682670b108ea5a2ad66.jpgRide was not really effected, but also went from stock 275/70R18s to 35x12.5R17s the next day.26274bb2758eb4684678f6c2a4ff3547.jpg5 months later I purchased my 2" Thuren Overland front level kit. Including 2" soft coils, adjustable track bar and front Overland shocks.fa1b2008c6659cbd2b34bebe6e3eec64.jpg85061003bf9338141bfcb861b003dbf3.jpg3f8b341b47d2fb6eed98070210b39721.jpg0e0c07a196a431b149326e9385156507.jpg4171b48330768b4dfda50d8a4ae43b0d.jpg8f6867b0223afcefd6c9ca2240bce784.jpgThe Thuren kit is a huge improvement over the RCX kit, ride was greatly improved.

I'll be going with the Carli Fox set up since I'm a Fox fan boy. I've had their shocks on numerous 4x4 and love them and these being specifically tuned for spring rates is even more appealing. Had custom tuned Foxs to my spring rates on my Jeep and it rode like a dream for what it was.

Bro this thing looks ****** awesome! I can't believe how big of a difference a level makes on these HDs. Did you purchase the spring kit from a particular website? And just out of curiosity what price range should the whole kit be in? I know spacers are cheap but definitely NOT going that route

Thank you! She's coming along very nicely! Yeah, my HD with a 2" on 35s sits as tall as a 1500 with a 6" on 35s! Yeah, spacers aren't the best option, I used them temporary since I didn't wanna go more than a week without 35s lol, then saved for the Thuren kit. I purchased the front end kit from Thuren's website.

You can buy just the coils, or the kit, I got the kit witch was $780 before shipping.

What hearing do you have? How was it once you switched to 35s? I'm debating between 35 or 37s since in the Toyo RT it's 4 lbs difference and I know I can fit them with the right wheels.

I have 4.10s. And honestly going from 33.2x10.8r18s to 35x12.5r17 I didn't notice any difference except like .5 mpg drop. But I blame my Flowmaster for that lol, like to hear the Hemi roar, so I give it the skinny pedal more than when I was stock.

Yea I'm on 3.73s so I think I'll stick to 35s, not wanting to regear until I know for sure I'm keeping this for long term. I switch vehicles every year it seems haha

I still have no problems breaking the 35s loose off the line, missed having 4.10s. My 12 1500 had 3.55s on 35s.

My 09 1500 had 3.55s on 35s and it was still plenty quick with what I had done. I'd like 37s and 4.30s

Did the 2inch spring sit higher or lower than the 2.5spacer. the pictures of both are difficult to tell.
