ok so I have found related information on this but not a complete answer hence the new thread. Im starting my research into lifting and really like the idea of a 4 inch spindle lift that CST offers. My issue is would 33's look too small for that lift? even a beefy 33?

I really like the way a 4 inch lift looks with 35's but I wouldn't be able to go that route without re gearing as I have 3.21's on my truck. I drive a lot of highway miles so this is a big issue for me (not to mention the strain on the truck). would I be better off just getting a level and some beefy 33's?

Any info/possible pictures would be greatly appreciated

P.S. I haven't been on here in months...been in the middle of buying my first house and bunch of stuff so its good to be back, thanks again in advance!

Google it, it is hard to believe this is a 4 inch lift, maybe it is mis labeled. Anyhow, 33 inch with a 4 inch lift IMO will look small. Maybe skip the lift and just get a level, and btw you can opt for a 34.

Isn't this a 3rd gen? They naturally look a lot higher than 4th gens, stock. Not because they are, but because of shorter fenders/bumpers and rocker panels. So it could look a lot better on a 4th gen.. Would basically look like a stock 2500.

If you don't need bigger tires, and/or concerned with gas mileage. Just do a level and stock size tires.

Better idea, get a Diablo Tuner instead of a lift. Will give you better MPG, more HP and better response. That way you actually make your truck better for what you use it for and improved its driveability.

Do the 4" spindle lift and 35" A/T tires

3" Level and Stock Tires...then 4.5" Front Spindle/1.5" Rear Spacer 35's

AustinB's idea seems to fit your driving situation best. Just don't spend tons of money to make your truck look like it did stock.

That probably has a 4" lift on it but it looks like it has a body lift as well. Definitely looks like a 7" overall as I'm guessing it has a 3" body lift.

Really should be the first mod on any vehicle. Night and day difference.

Yea, was going to be on mine.. Until I found out it would cost an extra $400-$500 for the 15s up.

Would 34" tires (295/65/20 or 295/60/20) on the stock wheels (20x9, WRT), without wheel spacers, and with a 4" BDS lift kit look good on a 1500 RAM with fender flares ? What do you think ?

I rocked the 4.5" spindles on stock tires till they were worn out. Here's a pic. I don't think it looks all that bad. Maybe with a 12.50 wide it would look even better

These are the stock tires in 275/60R20 on the stock wheels (20x9) and not some 295/60/20 or 295/65/20, right ?
