Hey guys, I'm curious to get your opinion. Do you think 35's W/ bilsteins set at 2.8 looked too stuffed in the wheel well. 33's are too small for sure, and I was thinking of doing 34's because they might look better on just a level, and i know there will be no rubbing at all. post pics if you have em.

I personally think the 35s look a bit stuffed .
I have seen bils @2.8 with a rear spacer giving back some rake and 35s that looked alright ...

I plan on getting 34s when I need tires . My bills are @ + 2.8 " also .
I will be putting a 1" spacer on as well .

I think you should go with 35"

I had stock 33" tires on my truck. By going with 35" you are only expanding the tire an inch into the wheel well by going with 35". I think it looks just fine and you can tell the "bros" you got 35s ;)

yeah thats what i was thinking. i was thinking about doing a rear spacer also because my front sits slightly higher than the back w/ the 2.8 setting. what spacer are you going with.

lol just knowing the fact that i can say i have 35's makes me feel good haha, but it's just people throw 35's on a 6inch and it looks good. Im skeptical with 35's on just a level.

35's and 34's run about the same price right?

Looks better with a wider stance imo
10" wheels -12 mm offset or more makes 35s on a level looks better to me .

I know what you mean. I felt like I had to get 35s. To me, it sounds odd to say "yeah bro, I got 34s" lol.

I just got a 5100 level at 2.1 with 35x12.5 tires last week. See photo so you can gauge for your self.

Remember you are looking at setting your 5100s at 2.8. So, essentially you will have that same factory wheel gap with the 33" factory ride height compared to 35" set at 2.8 on the 5100. Shouldn't look any more stuffed at all.

yeah no matter which one i go with, 34 or 35, I'm doing 20x10 or 20x9 with -12 or -24 offset. i think one of the couple wheels i was looking into(fuel trophy) only fit the 1500 with a 20x9 -12 and not 20x10

Photo is alright. I should have kept the front wheel straight. Hope this helps you out.

Looks good. Do you have any rubbing, or did you have to do trimming?

Stole these from the 1500diesel forum. This will be similar to what I do on my next one. Level with 34" duratracs.

The tire size is 275/65/20 Goodyear Duratracs

No rubbing at all. That is mostly due to the amount of space my front bumper frees up. My friend has a similar set up just with the factory bumper. He has to trim. Honestly, it is so minimal I didn't even notice until he pointed it out. Just the plastic wheel well liner. Not a big deal. Extremely minimal. If I see him today, I will snatch a photo for you.

You should feel odd to say "yea bro", period.

:)

I had 35s at 2.8... It did look good, but it also looked stuffed, all depends on the angle. I like more wheel gap, for numerous reasons, but mostly because I think it looks better. If I were to only stay at 2.8, I'd have some 275/65r20 on there and be happy.

35s at 2.8 (17x9)

Should probably rub around here...

I have 2.8 in front and a 1 inch spacer in the rear. I went with a 295/60R20 on my stock 20X9 rims. Now I measure from the ground up to the wheel well in front at 40.5 and 42 in the rear. I love the look.
