i have decided to lift it up with a full suspension lift. i already have the tires that i will put on the stock 20's for now. they are 325/60/20 falken rocky mountain ats. i am having a hard time finding and comparing pictures of my truck body style with 4" and 6" lift. and if going with a 4"...what is the benefit of that over the RC level/body lift combo? the few hundred extra bucks is not the issue between the 4 and 6 inch full suspension lifts...just trying to figure out what will look nice with the tires. i am going with the rough country lift kit. another question i would have is will the stock wheels be okay without rubbing with either of those 2 lift kits without having to do anything more. anyone have pictures that are proud of with any of those set ups with 35" tires?

Stock wheels will be fine on most lifts I believe. Most of us say get a 6 inch kit because if you get a 4, you will regret not getting a 6.
Here's mine:

You're probably gonna want 37's. Too much room in the fenders with 35's.

^this

Most lifts will require spacers to run the stock tires because of the positive offset. 35s or 37s will look good with a 6" depending on how you drive your truck

No question man. Go for the 6er. You would absolutely be upset with yourself if you had the opportunity to go with a 6" and you decided on 4". I don't think that any lift is high enough after a while. I am happy with my 6" and looks wise....I love it.

What 6 inch lift is that?

And to op there is one problem with lifting it, your gonna wanna go bigger! Do the 6 then the bilstein 5100s to be a nine and prolly go 37s, or 35s

@catchinZs- so with the "Bilstein 5100's set at 2.0"... is your truck actually more like an 8" lift? it looks good. if those are 35's, i don't think they look too small.

i already have the 35's new in the garage, so going 37 is not something i really want to do and lose the $. they are nor real aggressive looking either...falken rocky mountain ats. that is the only reason i was thinking a 4" lift. i am afraid they wont look aggressive enough on a 6".

Exactly as everyone stated.
I too was debating the 4" vs 6" 3-4 weeks ago.
Glad I went with the 6" and glad I went with 37's vs 35's that I originally purchased.

Yes the bilsteins 5100s are adjustable shocks for the front, 2.0 is 2 inches of lift (ish) can go as high as 2.8 for the 4th gens. His would be roughly a 8 inch suspension. I'm going to add the same shocks on mine but I have bout 3 inches of rake so gonna set at max, it's like a 9 inch in front and 6 in rear, gonna stick with the 35s as they are the pro comp extreme ats and look pretty meaty.

Yes, pretty much an 8" lift. And thanks! Well I would either sell those a/t's or do something with them because those tires will last 40-50k miles. I mean either way I would still get a 6 inch kit, regardless of how silly the 35's might look. When my 35's wear down I will be getting some 37's.

I've got the same issue/thought going on.
Since mine is a 2WD, I'm doing it solely for looks, so I'm not sure if I should be going 6inch or 4 inch. I'll be running 35x12.5x20 on some 20x10s.

If I were you with 4x4 I would do the 6 inch plus bilsteins. Keep the bilsteins at stock height though until you need new tires and go with 37s and raise the bilsteins to 2.8. Thats my opinion.

It was exactly leveled then so it probably was nose high in that field bc how it was up hill slightly.

Plus my driver rear has always been .5" lower than the passenger side..guess just the dodge lean lol
