4" or 6" lifts with 35x12.5 R17's .... Can I see any pics of these? How is the ride? I currently have stock 20's, but am thinking about going down to 17's with new wheels, tires, and lift.

Dang that looks good!! But then I see other and think... man those wheels look tiny! I hope to get some more posted on here. Can't decide between 17", 18" or 20". As you know, BIG price differences, but I want to be happy with them. This is a major purchase that I'll be stuck with for a while.

FWIW, you'll get a little better ride with smaller rims.............sidewalls make a HUGE difference in ride quality. There is only so much the suspension can do. And I don't need the 3860 lbs and 80 psi max inflation capacity of the tires I currently have (gotta love 20's)

I went for a cheaper alternative..

Bilstein 5100s set to 2.8"
3" PA Body lift
1.5" Rear Coil spacer

Love the setup and the look... all in under $1000 CDN so I can't complain! (6" & 37's Next year) [emoji57]

6 inch lift with 35"s on 17's . The four inch makes the truck look a bit more aggressive , 6 inch makes it appear more "off road" . I like the boxier "aggressive " stance on a 4 inch.

Ah!!!! Much better. I'm getting ready to order wheels with a -12 offset, which should only be about a 1/2" out from 0. I was getting really nervous.

Thanks for the better picture.

I lied , I just realized I told you 17, I'm running 20's sorry.

I've attached some better angled pics.

The wheels are moot metal, the tires are open country m/t , super aggressive tire, but runs street beautifully . No obnoxious road noise , and obviously , great traction. I was in some mud last night and never even got to use 4wd. Excellent tires!

I was pretty sure those were not 17"s....lol.... but I had to trust you. Do you know what offset those wheels are?

My vote is 4" if only running 35" tires. This is a pic of my last truck.

I'm doing 6 inch with the same exact wheels except in 18s on Saturday

Personally, I disagree , 4 inch lift needs 33 inch tires. Your truck, while looking good, looks small compared to mine. Like the tires are to big for the truck. 6 is the sweet spot for 35's , imo of course
