Hey All,

I just purchased the BDS 4" 670H lift kit. I have a few questions about the install.

1 - Hub socket size and torque spec?

2 - How to remove CV axle shaft from front differential?

That is it for now and thanks.

185 ft pounds. Axles pop right off front diff. There is a rcx 4 inch lift install on YouTube. I watched it before I did my lift. I know you got bds. But concept is the same. It's pretty easy besides getting to some of the top diff mount bolts.

By " pop right off" do you mean I can pull them off just by grabbing them with my hands and pulling?

Thanks

Sometimes takes a little tap with a hammer. Dead blow hammer works good. A little spring clip that holds them on. Just take s little shock to pop em free.

Hmm, I've watched that RCX video couple times before since my old 2012 Ram had a 4" RCX lift and had never took notice to that step.

Well the parts are in! I ended up going with the BDS 670H 4" lift kit, BDS #102002 brake lines, Spohn adjustable rear track bar and the Superlift rear coils. I went ahead and bought all yellow zink grade 8, 10.9 bolts and hardware. I'll be installing everything on Good Friday, it should be fun indeed.

It appears that I'll have to return my hardware that I purchased since the BDS kit comes with grade 8 and 10.9 hardware already.
