Finally decided to go with a 4 inch lift for my 2014 RAM 1500. Was looking for recommendations for kits that are under 2 grand but are still solid. Also if anyone has pictures of their 1500's with a 4 inch lift I'd love to see them. Looking to run 35/12.5/18 so don't know if I can go with the rough country lift regardless. Thanks in advance!

Here is mine with 4" Mopar lift (rebranded Super Lift) and 35x12.5r20s. The dealership is more expensive than you'll find other places. A lot of people like the Zone lifts too.

Thanks. You should post this in the lifted section too if you haven't already.

I would suggest looking at all the kits . I’ve ran roughy country and Bds in the past... both where good. knowing what I know now.. read the instructions on the lifts and see which ones are less intrusive on the truck” Require less cutting, and the ones that give the most travel. Just my opinion.

No, as long as you're ok with keeping a bit of the front rake. The kit raises the back 3" and the front 4". If you want to be level (no rake) then you'll need the Bilstein 5100's.

I was fine with the slight rake and my truck was brand new so the shop just used the front factory shocks.

4" superlift, bils @ 1.4, 295/65r20s on stock wheels.

Just know that once you go with a 4" or bigger lift, there is NO going back. You have to cut off the lower control arm mounts to bolt up the diff drop craddle. Also, when I went with the superlift rear springs, I got more squat than I did prior to the lift when towing and loading up the bed.

Did you end up changing from the Superlift springs? If so, what'd you use?

Nope, upgraded to a 2500.

There are a few things you can do to offset the squat with the softer springs

1) air bags
2) Sumo springs
3) Stiffer springs like Tuff Truck springs + coil spring spacers

Not sure if anyone makes a stiffer coil spring that also raises the rear.

Hey Bryan, are these stock Mopar flares? I have same color truck and these look nice on yours.
