Hello,

Recently, I installed the Bilstein's on my 1500 Ram 4x4 crew cab. I have them set at 2.1 and I upgraded the UCAs as well. The front and rear are perfectly level.......but now I want to go higher :)

I was going to order the Zone 1.5" body lift kit. This will be my first body lift install.

Any issues with combining the leveling kit and body lift? I don't think there should be (zone offers a 3.5" kit which takes a similar approach).

Will the body lift, lift both the front and rear? I want to maintain the perfect level I have now.

This will sound silly, I don't need an alignment right?

Thanks

Yes the body lift will lift the front and rear evenly. It's just spacers that go between the frame and body mounts. There shouldn't be any issues with your bilsteins and the body lift. And no you won't need an alignment, it doesn't change anything suspension wise.

I had plans of doing the same thing. From what I was told exhaust tips don't set right. Bumpers need to be adjusted. Potentially front tow hooks no longer line up and rear hitch sits well below bumper. I also heard something from the engine dept will need to be removed. I can't remember what I red about that. May want to look more in depth.

The kit will include brackets to raise the bumpers. If you have factory duals, the tips can be adjusted. As for the tow hooks and hitch, you will have to deal with that on your own.

I have done that on a few Rams, leveled and a body lift, 03,07&14 all RC SB's . One with a PA 3" and two with the 1.5" ,Worked fine . I also have had a three inch BL sitting in the garage for about 6 months that will probably go in my 14 RC SB . That presently has a 1.5 Zone BL in it . 3" looks better with 35's and is not much more work than a 1.5 just cost a bit more
