Alignment after leveling kit?

Hey guys,

Simple question... Do i need to get an alignment after a 2.5 inch leveling kit install?

It is highly suggested, and the instructions should say that you need to... I did just to be on the safe side... I would if I were you

If you don't have ajustable shocks, you might think about replacing them with adjustable or shocks for lifted trucks... It might be alright though, someone else might know

Mine was way off after the leveling kit. I'd definitely do it. Rides way better after alignment too.

it depends a lot on the kit you use. skyjacker sells a replacement strut that they call a leveling kit. if it is a strut spacer that would be different.

It doesn' matter what you use to level the front . If it has anything to do with the suspension you are changing the geometry and an alignment is needed. Body lift is the only change that wouldn't require an alignment

Definitely. I only put a 2" leveling kit on my 2012 and it was way out of alignment. You could easily see the tops of the tires leaning out.

Mine was pretty squirrelly over bumps. Not to mention screwing up tires.

Just had my aligned after Bumper install and level kit, the pre alignment report was man it was out of whack! Definitely needed, post alignment report A ok.
