So I have the bils at 2.8 and zone uca's
Will the 35x11.50 20 fit on the stock wheels? Or will the hit the uca's??? HELP

You have 20x9 right ? Or those also 20x8? I believe at 11.5 you’re good. I read somewhere recently someone said just a hair over 12 fits with this set up.

Yes they are the 20x9s
But looking at the stock tires they seem pretty close to my uca's already.i was just curious to see if anyone had the set up with those tires,or a size similar

Someone does for sure. Sports also have 20x9. So check out custom offsets and see if anyone is running that set up. It’s a great site.

Go to gallery. Click advanced search and you can fine tune it till you see what you want. Lots of trucks in the database. Pretty handy and neat. It’s like a all in one thread of wheels with pics and specs. I spend more time then I should on there [emoji1787]

Stock tires are 10” roughly so 1.5 inches isn’t TOO bad. Worst case use a small spacer. I’m not a fan but they have good ones now and you only need a little so safety shouldn’t be an issue. Or bearing issues.

Someone better will chime in soon lol.

Edit: also, that’s a very nice looking truck BTW.

Thanks for your input!! Appreciate. And yeah I'm just curious due to the offset of the factory wheel and the clearance with the zone uca

So I am trying to wade though the numerous pages of this thread!!! Up to about page 50 so far.

We are close to finding the right truck for us. At this point I THINK it will be an ‘18 BH CCSB 5.7/8spd/3.92 truck...

Looking to do a level/lift w/ rear spacers.

99.9% will be pavement, or maybe an occasional dirt road if necessary. No actual off road, unless it’s across a field/ open land for some reason.

We have a boat that has almost 500lbs of tw, so want it to be somewhat level when towing. Plus may have the coolers, and similar items when we go camping in the bed. Our ‘13 HD will have camper duty.

I may add air bags, possibly the 1000hd bags, to help if needed, and plumbed separately to help prevent body roll. IF they will work with the rear spacers... I don’t know...

Tires I’m looking at 285 or 295/65/20s on stock 20x8” rims.

Plan:

Bil 5100 @2.8”
Bil 5100 rear
Rear coil spacer....

BUT the big question is what size rear spacer, 1.5”? And will the in coil bags still work?

Does anyone see any issues with the tentative plan?

TY for the help!!!

add replacement UCA's if you are going to go 2.8. to be on the safe side for your ball joints wear and tear. if you haven't heard this, there's lot of threads on it. if you go 2.1 you don't need to change them.

I have read he arguments for and against, even if just on pavement all the time.

i'm learning too:) it seems the UCA options and prices are much better in the US. I've only seen no name ones for like 100 a pair. In Canada, they all seem to be 400 plus or 150 to 200 if no name. Not going to happen for me. i might do them one day when new ball joints are needed but not a 4000 mile truck.

I have mine set at 2.8 and I originally had TGC 1.5" spacers. I didn't like them because it had the same rake as the factory, just lifted. Also the 1.5 spacers raised the rear of my truck more towards 2in, but every truck is different.

Ended up selling the 1.5s and got .75s. personally I think the .75s are perfect for 2.8. The .75s lifted the rear of my truck about 7/8in FWIW. I have a little over an inch of rake now which is perfect IMO.be973cadd5f74c6fd2b254a36e540f87.jpg45201f9d261092224a8cdc9992235425.jpg0575956a62641c6f169e44a894bbf558.jpg

here's mine done today. Bilstein's at 2.1 ) or 2 if you ask the shop guys who installed them) funny about that cause they did lift the truck exactly 2" in front, not 2.1 as far as i can tell anyway. i love the look, i would describe the ride as a touch smoother, definitely feels "tighter". about 4000 miles on the truck so i expect a bit of settling. i'm very happy thought and glad that for the 220 canadian they charged for labour, I got them to do it. I also can get some steel spacers from them if i want a bit or rake down the road but right now it sits exactly level and i'm just fine with that. i also feel if i never increased tire size from stock I would be good with that. I see some 17", even stock and think there's not enough tire filling that space. the 20's make a diff.

my stats were:

before- 37 1/4 front, 39 1/2 rear right, 39 1/4 rear left ( i attribute the difference to the gas tank on the left. its better than 3/4 full in these shots.

after-39 1/4 front and no change to back.

funny how different 2 inches feels in height of truck, getting in and out of it!
