Installed the 4.5/3 lift with Fox shocks over the weekend. Overall the install wasn't too bad besides pressing out the sleeve from the FOX shocks and pressing in the correct sleeve side that was provided. Toe measurement was dead on before and after the install (truck track straight). 1.5" wheel spacers (for the rear) have been ordered already and will be in this Thursday. I will take it to the alignment shop after the spacer are install. I planned on running the stock wheels and tires until its worn out before I swap it out with a new yet of wheel/tires combo.

I think they use the spacer to keep 35's from rubbing the arms or suspension.

I just got a response from Maxtrac and it's to match the front track ... this is directly from Maxtrac;

"Wheel spacers are not necessary for the rear but people have been installing them to try and match the front track width increase. Once you install the spindles, the track width widens 1" per side and some people prefer to install rear wheel spacers so that the front and rear track width is closer to even. It's purely for aesthetic reasons"

I want to go with 20x12s but in a 37" tire, but seems that there is quite a bit of trimming ... so I think I am going to have to seetle with 20x10s if I go with the 37" tire or 20x12s with a 35" tire to prevent rubbing so that I can have the -44 offset ...

@xhyperxshogunx

What brand tires will you be going with ? I am still stuck on what tire to go with ... need something that is good in the rain .. everyone has toyos and nittos and i feel that you are paying for the brand than anything else .. I hear good things about the Fury Offroad Country Hunter RT and MTs .. the Milestar Patagonia MTs, RBP Repulsor MT RX and the Ironman All Country MTs and they are all $500 + less than the Toyos and Nittos ...

Oh my mistake. I thought that question was towards someone running stock wheels with 35's with the 4" lift.

I used 1" spacers on the rear of mine to match my fronts with the 7" maxtrac lift.
