Just wondering if anyone is having any isues running there bils at 2.8 with any 2012s? mine are being shipped and I'm not sure if I should change the UCAs or leave in the stock. Some threads say the isues are 2013- 2014, and say the 12s are better, but would like to hear from some people who have run this set up

I don't have my 2012 sport anymore, but I was running bilstein at 2.8....zero problems for 2 plus years running that setup.

I'm running them at 2.1" but from what I've read, control arm issues are with the '13s and up due to a different control arm design, or something to that effect. You should be alright running them at 2.8".

Did you change your uca? or did you just run the stock ones?

It is only 2013+ that have issues with the UCA's. I ran a 2.5" spacer level for years on my 2011 without issue.

You'll be fine, don't waste money on new UCA's.

2012 CC express. Running bils @2.8 for 2 years so far, no issues. Like others have said, your concerns are for the 2013+ models. IMO only change the UCA's if you want and like the beefier looking ones. I mean, how often do you look at and admire your current UCA's.

2015 with stock UCAs and Bilsteins at 2.8. Been running this way since the truck was new, a little over a year now. No need for new UCAs with Bilsteins at any setting.

The guys that recommend new UCAs with this setup haven't 'been there done that'. Trying to find a truck with UCA problems and properly installed Bilsteins is like searching for a unicorn. :) Good luck. Believe me, if there was even one thread with a real, documented issue, we'd be all over it. Still waiting. It's all hearsay.

Running my 2012 sport @ 2.8 and love it. UCA's sit nice and level and front end feels tight and right.

Amen
Too much hearsay and too much "in my opinion" here...

No vibrations at high speeds or in 4X4?
