I just installed mine yesterday at 2.1 and I love it. Also put 1" rear spacers as well

2.1" will be totally fine. I would not run them at 2.8" as you'll be more likely to have ball joint issues.

Agree, one's mileage varies on this point. I had a serious rake and opted for 2.8. Have them on now for a couple years on my 2010 with no issues. Also running 305/50/20s on 20x9 +1. Only slight rub at full turn.

Before putting them on, I would take good measurements of their fender heights to see how much rake there is. Depending on your rear spring, 1.4" may put you really close to level. When I had my 2014 1500 4x4, I set mine at 1.4" and I was about 1/2" of rake. But, visually, it looked level.

I have mine set at 2.8 and all my driveline angles are great. Balljoints are no where near maxed out, drive shafts are barely flexed from level. I dont know what magic these things are but they work great. The puck levels all seem to max out the balljoints and driveshafts but the bills are engineered properly.

Thanks for the replys , i will have to get some measurements with about 300 pounds in the bed, that's about the weight of the sandbags I leave in the bed all winter.

Nope, it was an express with the blacked out package

Don't think I have any pics with just the Bilsteins at 1.4" Shortly after the bils, I went with a 4" superlift... here's a pic with the 4" lift + bils @ 1.4 riding on 295/60r20s and stock wheels

Going to have 5100s installed next week along with Tuftruck 1211 rear coils.
Current rack front height 36" hard to fender, rear 39" fender.
As I am having them installed, what setting should I tell installed to get near level - 1.4" or 2.1"?
Thanks!

Had the bils installed today. Went with 1.4. I’ll post pics later. Measurement varied each time but usually it was close to 37 inches front and 39 back. After install 38 front 39 back. Install cost including alignment and tax was $288. I’ll measure a few more times and see if anything changes

Did you get the 1211 springs installed? Curious if they raised the rear of the truck any. There's been some differing comments as to whether they keep the rear at stock height. The manufacturer didn't definitively tell me that it would not change.

Looking forward to your pictures. My truck is similar to your initial measurements and I'm leaning towards the 1.4 as well since I don't mind a little bit of rake.

Got mine half done last night at 2.8. Took longer that expected due to a few small stupid things. Other side should only take an hour or so now.

I had 2 inches of rake factory so I should be nose high when done so I'm planning on a 1 or 1.5 spacer in rear.

The torque numbers on these seem ridiculous. I wasted like an hour trying to figure out proper torque. I did get the upper ball joint torqued which is likely the most important.

The tie rod end and stabilizer both feel like I'm going to break them if I torque them to spec. Both weren't that tight from factory as I easily broke them lose with a small ratchet

I went with 1.4, I have a 2015 express. I wanted to stay with the comfortable ride while eliminating some of the rake. I'm debating going up to 2.1, but have a 3/4" rear spacers ready if I do that.

Install scheduled for Monday, will post results once complete. I decided to not level with 5100s for now and just install coils.
