Bils 2.1 = 2.1 of lift?

Just want to make certain. If i do not change tires and install Bils at 2.1 the wheel well will raise 2.1" ?

My left front wheel well height is 36.75, rear is 39.625 which means the front will still be .77" lower than the rear if the Bils set to 2.1 is the lift you get.

Clearly I missed a bit of critical info of this mod. I some how got the impression that 2.1 leveled the front with the back but apparently the front will still be .75 to 1" in lower than the rear. Not level

Seems the 2.8 setting would be the level setting assuming 2.8" = 2.8" of lift is what you get. But I am not sure. I have read a lot of guys put .5" spacer on the rear when the front is set to 2.8"

I feel like telling the installer to set the Bils to 2.8" but from what I gather at 2.8" you need to get new UCAs?

Not every truck has the same factory rake. It's aprox. 2.5-3" on most of these trucks. So, a standard answer of "2.1 will level you" isnt entirely accurate. It also depends on how much rake the individual wants to maintain. Some people like a little, and will add a rear spacer to get more overall height. As far as UCA's, depends on the year, and how much peace of mimd you need.

This is what I got out of my Bils set at 2.1.

I have a heavy aftermarket bumper, so that makes a difference. Very happy with the set up

Best money i ever spent.

Best money i ever spent. Before i got it leveled it did seem at 70mph the ride was not as smooth as the 2 wd Ram i had but it was very slight differences.

Figure it is because its a 4wd. Today when I went to pick it up I could see it from 20 m a way. I thought wow looks great.

Drove it in city traffic and its a bit stiffer in a good way.

The installer said he wished we would of done the 2.8.

I said no uca funds at the moment. Maybe full lift later.
