Bils on backorder

I ordered Bils 5100's last week. I found out today they are on backorder until 12/30. Has anyone ordered them lately for a good price? Where?

Tried to order mine from 4wheelparts.com

Bilstein is out of stock, and we sold our last set a week ago. They told us they wont have more available until early January.

Yup, ordered from 4wheelparts last week also. Rep told me there's a 3-4 week manufacturer backorder. Couldn't find them cheaper than $189 shipped, so I I'll have to patiently wait...

Amazon had the fronts for $101 each and the rears doe $75 each a few days ago.

Try suspension connection. I ordered the week of Thanksgiving and they said their warehouse had plenty in stock.

We had 40 in stock early last week, and 1 of our vendors had more than 100...we are both out now. Bilstein does this about once a year where they go on an extended backorder, so once people find the few places that still have them in stock, they sell out very fast. Hopefully you guys can find a few laying around.

I do have 1 set here, but 1 shock is missing the yellow rubber bushing that goes on the top. I'd be willing to sell the pair for only $140 shipped for anyone that wants to just pick up that bushing themselves. PM me if you are interested.

I looked forever finally found one pair believe it or not local. Little more expensive at 119 each, but i have someone willing to help me install right now versus having to pay a shop later.

I ordered mine from them last week too. I haven't heard anything from them and the order has still not been processed. No ship date. They did however already take my money though via paypal. It would be nice for them to send an email stating they are on backorder or something.

I did not realize they were on backorder upon initial purchase, either. I called to ask a question about another product and decided to ask for a status update on the Bilstein order. The other item I ordered along with the Bilsteins (which was in stock) shipped the very next day and is out for delivery today.

I ordered mine through Amazon but the seller said everything is backordered and they do not have anything in stock. Called a couple of local places and they are all out as well. One place recommended pro comp and said they have a very similar product and he has had great results. Same specs stock height to 2.8 inches. So I gave them a shot since they were available and my wheels and tires are already on the way. Don't want to wait a month or two to get those put on.
