Does anyone set their Bilsteins at 1.7? If I do 2.1 but keep stock tire size I'm afraid it'll look funny.

Here is mine at 2.8 with stock tires. Sits dead level for me. Doesn't look that bad imo

Out of curiosity, why did you add the spacers? Just a preference on looks?

Wanted rear a little higher. I have a full size Polaris ranger UTV that I tow. Don't like it nose high

Gotcha. That's another reason why I was thinking 1.7. it will still have a rake just not as bad a factory and if I put weight in the bed it won't look nose high.

Ended up moving mine down to that setting. Added a 4 inch lift and 35's since that pic. Be careful. The level started it all for me. My checking account been empty ever since! Lol

Lol. That's what I'm afraid of. How does you truck ride with the 35's? I was going to increase tire size but anything larger than stock and the tires go to an E load rating. It drastically increases the weight of the tires because of the heavy duty side walls. I'm just a little uneasy about that. Also the ride quality.

I keep the pressure around 40. Little bumpier. Tires way heavy. Takes a chunk out of your mpg's

The sacrifices we make for looks. Haha. I'm still on the fence. At least I think I'm going to set the bills at 2.1, just not sure on the tires.

My friend has his at 2.1. We just put 305/55/20's on it. Basically a 33/12.50. It looks great

Is that an "E" load rated tire? Was trying to avoid that because of the added weight but I might not have a choice.

It was an e tire. I think nitto makes that size that's not e rated

It's difficult to find a tire that big not an e range, like stated above a few you can find. But for the look you're gonna be sacrificing mpg. My tires weight roughly 120 I think and you can notice a difference for sure

Worth it imo

I'll look into that size. I appreciate the help. Although my wallet doesn't.

Yeah but it looks awesome. Is the ride really firm? Or do you keep the psi around 40?

Well when I switched over to bils I could tell a difference for sure, it's a stiffer ride but I like not bouncing around hitting bumps. When I put the tires on it's a little bit stiffer but not much. You can feel the weight no doubt. I run the tires at 50 psi and am very happy with how it rides.

So I guess the moral of the story is no one sets Bilsteins at 1.7. lol
