I apologize in advance if this has been answered already but I need a answer so I can order parts. I have a 2017 ram sport 1500 4wd and will be ordering bilstein 5100's. With the bilstien's on max setting (2.8 I think) what size spacer would I need in the rear to be 100% level? Im running my oem wheels and tires.

Also does anyone have pics of this ?

Some people have problems with the 4 wheel drive with them set that high and I would recommend getting a set of after control arms as the stock ones have problems with the ball joint popping out.

2.8 should level it but you will need a control arm, I think many guys are using Zone, but there may be a cheaper option as well.

This is my 14 at 2.8 up front with 1.5" spacer in the rear. I am also running Zone UCAs. Worth the money to me but others are going with mevotechs because they are about 350 bucks cheaper and have had good results. The ride at 2.8 is pretty stiff, not sure if that is a factor for you but that's a real world review. Not the hyped out bilsteins are so amazing review lol. I would still recommend them over spacers. I've had both

I have a 17 sport 4wd and set them at 2.8. I have zone UCAs and bilstein rear shocks. I sit dead level at 39 3/4 on all 4 corners. Every truck is different. The only way you'll know what size spacer or the setting you'll have to put on the bilsteins to be level is measure from the ground to center of the wheel well. Hopefully this helps

I have mine at 2.8 and 1" rear spacers in the rear, but I have TTC-1211S rear springs as well that are spose to be stock height springs. Running stock uca at this time.

Front is stiffer now but for me it matches my rear springs better so the truck rides uniform front to rear, I love it as it now rides like a truck I just need real tires now..lol

I have. 16 with Bils at 2.8, no rear spacer but TTC-1223 springs in the rear. I have what I consider a little less than factory rake but I like the way she looks.

My 2014 needs about 3/4 in the rear to set level. As for the upper control arm, mine are stock and my truck has taken an off road beating more than once without issue.

Just so I understand correctly, the bilsteins set at 2.8 would most likely make the UCA ball joint pop, but at 2.1 they wont?

A lot of guys run 2.8 with no issues but others do. 2.1 you will be good. Some aftermarket UCAs will be a safe insurance so you don't have the risk

I was just thinking if I can only run 2.1 I'd save some money right now and just get a HBS spacer for now, but if I can run at 2.8 and not have any issues I would. I know it typically varies from truck to truck though

You can run it and probably be fine like everyone else, worse comes to worse you gotta back off and do 2.1

with a 2012 you might have the older beefier uca's and not have to worry about it at all. I think late run 2012's got the same uca's as the 2013's which started the ball joint popping issue.

well then.....you're screwed

j/k, but i would not wast time, effort, and money on spacers unless you are definitely going to upgrade the UCA;s- with those the probably of popping ball joints is greatly increased....more like not a matter if but when lol

I've thought about that, I'm supposed to be getting a RCX 2.5 front level and 1" rear spacer, along with a lot of stock suspension parts. I've thought about selling it all and ordering the bils
