Do the install yourself. If you can change a tire and turn nuts, you can do it.

no point rears do nothing
I disagree. I had the Bils on all 4 corners of my 2010 1500 SLT with the fronts set at 2.1 and when I bought my 2015 1500, I put a set on all 4 corners at about 1200 miles. They are that much better than stock. But, I had to wait a couple of days between doing the fronts and rears. The difference with the Bilsteins up front is huge. But, they make a difference in the rears, too. The rebound rate, the way it helps reduce the sway in the rear while towing our travel trailer, and the way they make the truck handle in the corners makes it worth the effort and expense to replace the rears, too. And if I ever meet the engineer that designed the upper mount area for the rears, I would slap him for making it far too hard to replace.

Ive had bilstein 5100s on my last 2 trucks. They lift and ride great. I tried the rancho quicklift shocks on this truck and im very happy also. Granted you cannot adjust the ride height locked at 2.25" but you can adjust the stiffness from 1-9 while theyre on the truck. Just another shock option for you. I would not use a spacer kit, they ride alot rougher than bilsteins

Bilsteins hands down wins....

Install should take a few hours and doesn't take much tools to install besides renting a spring compressor from auto zone.

I have mine set at 2.8" with 1" spacer in the rear.

What are you guys paying for the Bilstein's? I found them on Amazon for $86 each. Went to 4 Wheel Parts today and got a quote for $90.99 each, $448 installed and aligned. That price seems a little high to me, but maybe not?

Seems like I could do the install myself. I can turn a wrench, and have even installed a lift kit (springs and shocks) on an old Land Rover Discovery a couple of years ago.

Just get them from amazon.. Somebody recently bought a set for $145?? Have to read through some recent threads for that.

Edit: you can definitely do the install yourself then, just rent a spring compressor and I would use an air/electric impact wrench for the top nut.

The part number for the '14's is 24-187367. That link has it listed at 86.95, order 2 of them, then use a coupon code 15now to get another 15% off. My total came to 144.12.
