I am getting ready to level my 2014 with bilstiens, and was hoping somebody could chime in with some knowledge on the subject. What all will I need? Bilstiens for the front and spacers for the back? What size spacers work best in the back to give a good level, 1" or 1.5"? Also, who makes a reputable spacer? What is the item/product number of the bilstiens I should be using? What kind of backspacing/offset will I need to run 35/12.50s? Any write ups on bilstien installs? Would love to see pictures of bilstiens and 35s!

I did bilstiens in the front and the biggest problem I had was getting the top nut off the the strut assembly. There are some videos in tricks on how to do it easier than I did it.

I run bilstiens 5100 on my 2013. I set the front at 2.1 and did a topgunzcustom .75 rear spacer. Keeps just a small amount of rake on my truck.

Wheels i used the stock rims with a 275/65/20 discoverer ATP with no wheel spacer. Absolutely love the set up.

Hardest part was the top strut nut. If you plan on changing the UCA this is the perfect time to do that also.

The best advice you can get, go to harbor freight or where ever and buy a passthrough ratchet set. Use it for the top nut, you will not regret doing this.

Set at 2.1. No rear spaced used at all. Very very slight front rake. Perfect for what I wanted.

You raise the front to level the truck. If you raise the back, too, you're putting the rake back in it. If your goal is to raise it so that bigger tires/wheels fit then you may want a spacer of up to 1 inch in the rear. The 5100s can handle that. Any higher and you'll need different shocks. I believe 35s will fit if you put the fronts at the highest setting (2.8 inches) and install a one inch spacer.

I did not know these existed. No immediate need but very cool to know that these are out there.

Hey I just ordered these same shocks. If I set to 2.1 am I going to have an issue fitting 35s? If so what spacers should I order for the back so I can fit 35s?

I put the 5100s front at 2.8 and the matching rears with 35s and had no issues at all. I swapped the stock arms for Zone heavy duty just for peace of mind.

What wheels are you running ?

10mm spacer is what some are running with stock wheels.

I was planning on leaving the rear at stock(not touching at all). But now I'm worried that the 2.8 setting will bring the front up to high.

Buddy of mine who has done a few of these said he always sets at 2.1 which brings the truck to level. So I'm just trying to figure out what I need to do since my wheels and tires are already on order.

My truck was dead level at 2.8, so I added 1" spacers in the back because I dont like the squatted look when loaded.

Realistically, how much lift did it give you in the front when you set it at 2.8 so I can take a tape measure to it and see where it will pan out. I don't really have a load on the truck very often so I'm not that concerned about it squatting.

I gained almost 3" at first going from 36" to 39" but now I am just under 39" so I would say 2 1/2 to 2 3/4" of lift.

Still on stock tires at this time.

Are you on the stock shocks in the back with a spacer? Or bilsteins in the back as well with a spacer?

I went ahead and installed bils in the back as well with the spacer, you can run stock shocks if you want.

Ok thanks. I guess I'm just going to have to measure it out and see. I called supplier I got it from and said 2.8 should bring it pretty level. then said if you don't like it you can always redo and move snap rings(said it like it takes 5 mins to do)

Anyone know how much lift the 2.1 setting gets you?
