Coil spacer and it lift 1000

Has anyone used a rear coil spacer in conjunction with the air lift 1000? I like the idea of the air lift but I also like the idea of getting a TGC. 3/4 inch rear spacer.

Yep. I had the Firestone bags but an air bag is an air bag.........worked out great with my 1" TGC spacer.

I have a 1.5" coil spacer on my truck with the airlift 1000.

If I could do it over I would have waited for the airlift 5000 bags to come out. For what I do the airlift 1000 bags don't cut it. With my 1" rake the truck will sit nose high with 550 lbs on the hitch. Airbags maxed out. It was disappointing. With 600 lbs in the bed my truck will sit level though.

For my purposes, they worked out just fine. However, like stated above, you may want something a little more robust if towing heavy or frequently. I kinda like the idea of bags outside the coil myself as I did find they sqeak just a tiny bit if dirty which they will always be. Surprisingly the metal coil spacer itself made no noise whatsoever.........
