I currently have a 2.5" leveling kit on the front which is shocks and coils, and I want to take the leveling kit off and do a 4.5" suspension lift. It is a 2wd truck. I have 305/50R20 which are 32"x12" tires and I have 20"x12" rims with -44 offset. I was wondering if it would look weird with a 4.5" lift on 32" tires. It is a 2012 ram 1500 2wd.1ab64c7625d8d4b54abe604b45ac2e2c.jpg

It'll look fine, kinda matches the theme of your truck. I like more rims less tire, a 4.5" lift with 22x12s on your tires would be awesome.

That's a very clean truck. Imo you should at least get 35's if you lift it any higher. I think those tires are good for a level but any bigger you should go bigger. Just my .02

I feel you, but I don't mind the small tire look, as long as they aren't super small tires on a huge lift.

It's only 2 inches more. Shouldn't look bad IMO.
Do you know if I would need new front brake lines? I heard with the lift, they would stretch out and break.

Thanks, and I was thinking the same thing. I'll keep these rims and tires for a little bit, then probably get bigger ones, maybe even 14 wides

You would be surprised on what 2.5” will add. I have a 3” lift with 37 x 13.5. I thought I had a 6” lift until I was proven wrong. 6d6b98d7dc1005916f2b6c6d979adac3.jpg

I jacked the truck up about 2 inches, which would be pretty close to be taking off the 2.5" leveling kit and putting on a 4.5" lift. What do you think?

I jacked up the front 2" which would be pretty much the same as me taking off the 2.5" leveling kit, and putting on a 4.5" lift. Does it look good or weird?

Looks perfectly fine to me...I don't like the plainness (street look) of the tires but the height looks fine IMO

I have a 4.5" lift on my reg cab and had the stock 33" tires on there for a day when I lifted it. I thought the tires looked like donuts. I put 35s on and I think it looks perfect with a 4.5" lift.

If you look at the side profile when you lift it you can see you have no clearance issues lol. It’s ok but I’d go to 35. But it’s not bad really.

I would go with 35" but it's not 4wd and I refuse to put mud tires on a 2wd. What is the biggest street tire you know of?

I don't want to put bud terrain or all terrain on a 2wd, the biggest street tire I could find was a 33.5"x11.6"

I totally agree with you on that. Don’t treat like a 4wd is she isn’t one. Lol. Off the top of my head I don’t know of one. But I’m sure I could find one. I’ll poke around.

To bad you don’t like the toyo rt. It’s a great tire and looks good. Michelin makes a all season. Defender xlt I believe. Awesome working tire but I don’t like the style.
