Anyone install Daystar's 2" rear spacers? I picked these up at a local truck shop. KC09116BK - On the box they say for 09-12 Dodge 1500 FWD. They told me they'd fit a 2015 Dodge 1500.

After a failed attempt I called Daystar and was told they d definitely fit the 2015s. He told me depends on location because they can be extremely tight depending on cold climates. I was told to put them in hot water and grease them and use the weight of the truck.

Anyone have any issues. The factory isolator pad/protector on top of the spring slipped right on and off the spring and to the lip of the frame in the wheel well. These daystar ones are definitely a touch smaller.

Yes not sure if that changed over time or what. But that is definitely the part number along with it being a 2" rear spacer..

Which one did you order? I need the bottom mount bc my airbags airline goes out the top.

They go on the top of the spring. They replace the isolator pad. I did happen to watch an install video of the 1" and he reused the isolator pad and placed it on top of the spacer but it doesn't fit in my spacer like the video. I put it back together but I see zero lift difference haha. The local shop also told me to not use the isolator pad..

Kinda annoying for such an easy install too. I recommend doing the work yourself but I ll likely take mine somewhere just to get a second opinion now.
