Do I need to get adjusted struts

I just got my 6in suspension lift . My truck is a 2016 do I really need to buy new struts or will I be ok because they are still like brand new ?

The adjustable struts are not a "must-have" item.
However, if your truck still has some rake after the lift, struts are the preferred method for leveling.

Also, if you go off road, with the factory struts, it is possible to over extend the front suspension and damage the ball joints.

Depends on the lift, some lifts can use either the adjustable struts or a spacer to get to the 6 inches. Popular opinion is the struts vs the spacer to get that last 2 inches of lift for a few dozen reasons already posted in the forum in about 60000 places. If the kit comes with the spacer as most do, then it should and will likely be fine for the life of the kit. The struts just add a better geometry and road handling characteristics.
