Do you think Rancho's Quick Lift is enough to Level my Truck?

Hi,

I'm looking to level my 2017 Ram Crew Cab 4x4 Sport, and interested in Rancho's Quick Lift. The front of my truck measures 37" and the rear 39.5".

Will Rancho's Quick Lift be enough to level my truck? I'm just concerned because their website indicates it will raise the front 2". If the front remains 0.5" lower will that be noticeable?

I've used the Bilstein set-up before in my Wranglers, and thought they were okay. I just wanted to try something different.

Thanks :)

Not 100% level But it's close enough for me.

after they settle you'll still have about an inch or rake so the answer is no you wont sit perfectly level

If they stayed at 2" that's about where you'd want to be as you typically want to retain about 0.5" of rake to avoid looking nose high when leveled. But as stated above, they will likely settle slightly and give you more rake then you'd like to have. I'd recommend Bilstein 5100's at 2.1" for your application.

I hated that kit. Like riding in a dump truck.

I do not agree with ^^^^^^^^^^^ at all. I loved them on my Ram. The adjustment of them made my Ram ride great!

A few folks mentioned that the Rancho's would settle down, but wouldn't the Bilstein's settle down as well?

I love my bilsteins, they have been set @ +2.8 for over 25k .

As far as settling goes because it is a strut with the shock inside the settling is 90% due to the coil settling not the shock , a very small amount of settling is to blame on the shock , mainly the coil itself.
In my case I installed the bilsteins at +2.8" when my coils only had about 20k on them now after about + 25k miles my front end measures about 5/16 - 3/8" lower than my initial install . Still rides better than stock imo.

So in conclusion any level will likely settle over time due to the spring steel of the coil settling . Even a junk steel spacer kit , or any type of shock leveling kit .

If you have low miles when you install the leveling kit of your choice then it will settle more over time than a higher mileage @ installation .

@ the OP . IMO you would not notice a .5" difference front to rear .
Also as recommended by Brandonjanson above , I'd go with the Bills @ +2.1"
OR
Bills @ +2.8 with a 3/4" - 1" rear coil spring spacer .

Hope this helps !

If you plan to install the Bilsteins yourself or have a shop do it , here's a link to a bilsteins 5100 install that has some good tips to avoid common issues when installing the Bills .

Fwiw here's a link to a rear coil spacer install . It's a quick and easy task imo.

I have the Ranchos on my 2014 RC SB . I had to add a 1" spacer to get just a little rake . Ranchos gave me better than 2" and rides no different than stock on #3 setting. On my 07 RC SB I tried the Bills at every setting and rode like an empty dump truck , Traded the truck in after trying every setting and had enough. I run 5100 Bils on one of my wrangler TJs and they are ok but I prefer the Rancho 9000's on my other TJ and 9000's on a previous Wrangler JK after trying Bil 5100s valved to match the springs supposedly. Rancho is nice as you can make it ride how YOU like not what someone eles may prefer with a lot less work.

this makes no sense since the shocks are adjustable. they ride anywhere from almost softer then factory to stiffer then the bilsteins.

I put them on a truck I was going to give to my son, and it drove horrible. I removed them and put Bilstein 5100s on it.

That's just my .02 on them. I didn't care for them. I have had Rancho shocks on Several trucks, including a Rancho Lift. I don't know if it was the spring that was so stiff of the shock, which was a PITA to adjust as well.

I ended up just giving them away. But to each there own .

they are very easy to adjust as long as they are installed on the correct side.
