How much are you looking to spend? You could go the route of a body lift which would be cheaper, or go suspension lift and be in the $2000 range.

Finished product
I went with a cst 7 inch lift, 20" xd thump wheels and 35" nitto trail grappler, turned out Perfect! now we need to work on getting better MPG down 4mpg but the price you pay to have a badass truck.

You'll get most of the mpgs back if you regear to 4.56's. Lucky for you it won't cost as much because you have a 2wd truck.

Here it is, what else besides changing the gearing do you think should be done, cold air intake? throttle body spacer.
