Finally got to drive my truck for the first time since the lift and wheels/tires were put on. Drives a little bumpier than with the factory wheels/tires and there is a slight hum from the tires when driving 70-80 but it's nice overall. Really like the way it looks and with the bilsteins at .7 the sharkfin antenna scrapes the rubber seal on the bottom of the garage door which is about 1/2 inch below anything hard that could do damage so I'm happy. The door opening is 6'11". I do need to get the speedo calibrated, at 75 on the dash the gps reads 78mph. Will be getting the front doors tinted and getting it detailed tomorrow. Will post pics when it's done.

Here is a pic after the detail and window tint. Of course it started raining right as they were finishing up the detail. The tint is Llumar 30%. Not as dark as the rears but less than legal here in TN (35% on fronts is the limit) but should be legal in TX in case I ever move back there (25% legal there).

That's really nice looking. I'm glad to finally see some chrome wheels again on a truck. More pics would be greatly appreciated. Looking I keep tossing between a level/lift or 4” lift.

Thanks. I think chrome wheels are going the way of the corded phone, vcr, cd, etc. For every set of chrome wheels I found online there were probably five sets of black. I like some black wheels but I like the old school chrome better. Not into the blacked out trend that seems to be all the rage now either. I think my tastes show my age.

I had a set of chrome Helo Max 6s on a truck for 6 yrs and they still looked good when I sold the truck, But I kept the stock tires and wheels and ran them in the winter.
They can be some work.

bryan28 can you by chance measure from the bottom on the tire to the top of your front and rear wheel well. That would help me out trying to figure out what hight tire to go with. Got a low garage. Thanks.

Both fronts are right at 42.5" and both rears are at 43.25". My garage opening is 6'11" and my sharkfin grazes the rubber seal on the bottom of the frame as I pass under it. The radio antenna on the right fender actually scrapes the garage frame.

Thank you. I'm gonna have to remove the sharkfin and get the flat puck style.

Truck looks, Bryan28. Good thing it fits in the garage.

Planning on any more MODS for the future?

I'm going to get a Hypertech speedo calibrator to adjust the speedometer to the larger tires and add a Pedal Commander but that's it. Want to keep it simple.

So you have 42 1/2" from the ground to the top of the fender ?
