I recently purchased a 2012 Outdoorsman! Got a great deal that I couldn't pass up, I've been eyeing the 4th gen Rams for a while really love the look of these trucks. So far I am very pleased with everything about the truck. I have been doing some research for leveleling the truck. It seems that the way to go is the bilstein 5100 set at around 2.1. is anyone currently running the bilsteins maxed out with the outdoorsman? If so any of the possible issues while in 4wd? Thanks for any input.

Thanks! I read all about the issues with the outdoorsman and the cv angles. What size wheels and tires are your running?

Congrats on the Ram. I was the same way. I found a great deal on a 09 Big Horn 2wd CC with ram boxes and loved it. Then a year later got a 13 Lone Star CC 4x4 and loved it but hated the gears and realized I didn't need the back seats so 16 months later I got the 14 Express I have now. Now I saw than Ram Rebel I am thinking it maybe time for another new ram after I see one in person.

Arod I know I'm on the fence between 20s or 18s or keeping stock 17s and just getting a little bigger tire. I figure at one point I just need to do it and stop looking

Ryan thanks I'm really happy with it. I had. F250 that I thought I loved until I got my ram. I was missing out. I think I just may be a Dodge owner for life now

It gets worse after every mod. Your ram starts looking better and better then all you can think is what should I do next. Every few weeks I see something new I want to add. Between 18's and 20's it's more what you like. Since I was doing 35's I went with 20's. I don't off-road to often so I prefer the shooter sidewall for handling on the street. 18's also look good I have seen a few people running them. The only thing I don't like about stock wheels is the offset limits the tire width if your not planning on using a wheel spacer. If you do always spend the money on a good set of hub-centric ones they are a a lot better.
