Will installing only the front 5100s at 2.8, with mevos cause any problems? I want to do the fronts first and I can always upgrade the rear later, just looking for input.

I did Mevos and Bils at 2.8 and the truck sat pretty much level. Ran it like that for 2+ years with no issues. I recently lifted the rear and upgraded to Bils but only because I got a fiberglass truck cap and when fully loaded the truck has a slight Cali lean.

You've got nothing to worry about.

Once you feel how much better the front end handles you are going to want to get the back as well.

I ordered the fronts only. Ran it like that for week and then ordered the back.

Don't mean to derail the op's trend, but I have a question and don't want to start a new trend just for one question.

I am about to install the bils on the front of my 2016 Ram. Is it recommended to have a front end alignment after install?

Thanks in advance.

Yes you must. it won't drive well and will kill your tires.

I was almost positive I would. I know I had to when I did my Cummins but it was a different setup. Thanks for the quick reply.

I did drive mine for a few days before I was able to get it into the shop, it had twitchy steering and you could sure tell it was going to be hard om the tires..lol

I'm assuming driving to get an alignment after the install isn't going to cause any major issues if you get it done fairly quick?

No it wont hurt anything, I think I ended up with 50 miles or more on mine before I got it done.
